نویسندگان
چکیده
Background: Bronchiolitis is an acute viral respiratory illness that affects children younger than 24 months of age, with severe disease more common among infants from 1–3 months. The aim the research was to investigate correlation between diaphragmatic ultrasound parameters, clinical scoring bronchiolitis evaluate their role in assessment severity and findings patients bronchiolitis.
Methods: This carried out on sixty aged (one month 2 years) at 1st attack wheezy chest. According cases were divided three groups: group (1): mild (1-3) including 30 patients, (2): Moderate (4-7) 20 patient, (3): (8-14) 10 patients. All subjected chest X-ray, laboratory methods (Complete blood count C-reactive protein), Scoring.
Results: There a significant positive excursion length hospital admission (r 0.395, p<0.00), inspiratory slope admission. 0.439, p<0.001).
Conclusions: Lung ultrasonography may play evaluation workup babies emergency room, helping doctors identify who require intensive treatment. Ultrasound diaphragm appears be objective valuable technique for assisting clinician evaluating treating bronchiolitis.
